Seychelles is an archipelago of 115 beautiful islands tucked away in clear waters, but I’m sure it’s not just the exotic beaches, five-star hotels, or seductive palm trees that make it unique. The variety of experiences that travelers are treated to as soon as they land on the islands, including powdery beaches, breathtaking sunsets, clear oceans, and much more, makes Seychelles unique. After our experience we couldn’t name the best beach resorts in Seychelles, we loved a majority of them because each is unique and stunning, you’d have to visit them to comprehend what we are talking about.
Why would you choose Seychelles as a vacation destination?
We’ve visited many islands so far, and each one has its advantages and disadvantages. The Maldives is the best place to go if you want a really opulent vacation but it doesn’t really offer local experiences. While Mauritius is great for road trips, it doesn’t have any opportunities for island hopping. Seychelles can help with this because the islands provide a variety of luxurious, cultural, and island-hopping activities not to mention there are multiple spa resorts in Seychelles as compared to the Maldives and Mauritius. It is perfect if you like luxurious beach vacations interspersed with cultural encounters.
The Ideal time to plan your visit to Seychelles
All year long, the island enjoys a pleasant temperature and that makes the beginning of the year the best time to book resorts in Seychelles. It is an excellent place to travel all year round because it is located in a storm area. That being said, the best time to visit Seychelles is between March and June. Despite the heated weather, sailing and other water sports are perfect on the calm waters. The monsoon season runs from November to January. If you visit the country during those months, be prepared for a lot of rain.
How to Enter Seychelles without a lot of transfers
Air Seychelles offers excellent connections from both Asia and Europe. For instance, getting to Mahe is really simple thanks to direct flights from Mumbai and Paris. Your vacation will begin the moment you step onto the flight to Seychelles thanks to friendly service and cuisine showcasing Creole specialties.

Here’s a hint on what your itinerary to Seychelles would look like.
While visiting Seychelles, it is possible to enjoy a choice of island-hopping itineraries. Even better, spend your entire time on a single island like Mahe or Praslin and take a few day trips and reside at Resort Beau Vallon which is one of many stunning spa resorts on the islands. However, if you prefer luxurious vacations packed with cultural experiences and water sports as we do, then this schedule is perfect for you.
The First Day: Travel to Praslin and get to know it better
Flying into Mahe Airport is required. In order to reach Praslin, the first island on your schedule for Seychelles, you can take a quick flight from here or board a ferry. Make sure to include Praslin on your schedule because it has some of the most beautiful beaches in the entire world.
You are visiting Seychelles for the first time today, so take your time getting accustomed to the atmosphere. Visit your accommodation in Praslin after you arrive. We selected the resort beau Vallon and we had a great time there.
Second Day: Visit La Digue for a day.
Praslin is only a short ferry journey from the lush island of La Digue. After a leisurely breakfast, go to the jetty to catch the ferry. When you arrive in La Digue, rent a bicycle from Tati’s Bicycle Rental near the pier and tour the tranquil beaches and byways of the island. If you want a leisurely bike ride, we advise going to the northern part of the island and exploring beaches like Anse Severe on your bikes.
Third-Day: Travel to Mahe after visiting Fond Ferdinand
It’s time to board yet another island while toting your belongings. But first, a quick stop at the Fond Ferdinand nature walk. The notorious Coco de Mer is an expensive and rare item. At Fond Ferdinand, you may observe it in its natural setting and learn more about it. Don’t pass up this chance because Coco de Mer is unique to the Seychelles archipelago and is a native of those islands. You can go all the way to the summit for a stunning panoramic view or take a quick stroll through the plantation.
Fourth Day: Enjoy a day of relaxation and water activities in Mahe.
You’ll undoubtedly be worn out from all the day tours and plantation visits. Take a leisurely stroll along the beach or try diving or snorkeling in the stunning Seychelles waters. For visitors, most hotels may organize water sports. Drink cocktails while lounging by the pool in the evening. Get a relaxing massage if you really want to unwind.
Fifth Day: Take a lengthy hike and explore the beauty of Victoria.
Prepare for a really early wake-up call. Day 5 is set aside for a short breakfast and a lengthy, picturesque hike. Mahe offers a variety of nature routes, and you can pick one based on your degree of fitness. We went with the difficult Copolia Trail. The ascent is challenging and gratifying in equal measure on a sunny day. Although you may have perspired a lot while climbing, don’t worry; breathtaking views are waiting. Spend some time admiring the lovely scene of little islands surrounded by a turquoise ocean. As you catch your breath before the journey back to the starting point, count the many hues of blue.
Sixth and Seventh Day: Fly to Silhouette Island and take in the island lifestyle.
For honeymoons and romantic getaways, Seychelles is perfect. Spend the final two days of your vacation in an opulent sanctuary in Seychelles. Look at private island resorts like North Island Luxury Lodge or luxurious hotels like the resort beau Vallon if you’re celebrating a once-in-a-lifetime occasion and want something truly unique.
And that’s the end of our Seychelles seven-day adventure, we had a lot of fun, rest and our eyes were pampered with the most serene views we could ever imagine. Visit The Resort Beau Vallon and enjoy all the activities that you had in mind like water sports, snorkeling, and mouth-watering meals. Enjoy your Seychelles Holiday.
